Summary
Having lost all my memories amidst the flames of the bombing, the only thing left to me was my husband, Johann, a man who called me by the name “Lise.” A perfect man, praised in unison by everyone in the village. “Lise, I love you. I swear to the heavens that I would willingly die if you were to kill me.” My husband was unusually shy, yet even that side of him was endearing. “Forget it. Me… and yourself." Sometimes, not knowing anything is a blessing.” So I trusted him. Even when he did things I couldn’t understand, he was still the man I loved and the man who loved me. “Lise Einemann, think carefully. Doesn’t it seem strange?” “Johann Renner is trying to hide everything.” Is what he’s desperately trying to hide my past, or his identity? When I finally learned the whole truth, I was holding a gun.
