Summary
Sometimes animals, sometimes humans—
someone carrying burdens in their heart always finds their way to Olivia’s shop.
◇ ◇ ◇
Olivia runs a soup shop at the edge of a forest far from town, but she carries a secret she can tell no one: she can hear the thoughts of humans and animals.
Because of this ability, she was rejected by her family. Just as she was about to be sent to a convent at the age of five, she was taken in by her adoptive grandparents, eventually leading her to this shop.
Twenty years later, Olivia has closed off her heart from the people around her.
However, one rainy morning, a soaking-wet former mercenary named Arthur arrives at her shop—and seems to sense something about her…?!
A story of many meetings and partings unfolding within the “Soup Forest.”
